The world became a sadder place when Gesaffelstein announced that he was retiring his live show, but it seems that this has let him pursue a new route that has him venturing into the cinematic world. The Lyon-born artist released a mysterious countdown, and it was revealed that he composed the music for the Cannes-Film Festival Un Certain Regard contender, Disorder (originally titled Maryland).
It seems like streams of the full soundtrack aren't readily available, but what is available is the theme song for the track and "A Pledge." While both lack in techno rhythm, they more than makes up for it with suspense, mystery, and organized chaos, three things the producer has in spades.
The soundtrack, titled Maryland, is available in vinyl exclusively through The Vinyl Factory in a limited quantity of 1000.
