It's official: by many standards, after this weekend, summer 2015 will officially be over. School will be back in session, and it will eventually start getting colder again in the northeast. But in New York City, Labor Day Weekend is a time that dance music fans look upon with favor, not dread, and September 4-6 is almost upon us. With headliners The Chemical Brothers, Above & Beyond and Alesso, Electric Zoo: Transformed poses to come back with a vengeance after the year prior when weather delays interrupted concert goers' fun, and two years prior marked with controversy. In this week leading up to the festival, E Zoo has a lot of announcements, and we have on as well: we're giving away two GA 3-Day Passes.
Not so long ago, the team behind the festival announced renderings of each of the new stages. And along with that, sponsors aiming to keep festival goers hydrated like vitaminwater will host a totally new stage at the festival called Treehouse, where local DJs will get to spin.
Last week, the NYC edition of Electric Zoo also announced pre parties and after parties, featuring many stars from the festival's line up. Pierce Fulton, Don Diablo, Markus Schulz, Hot Since 82 and others will hit some of the city's most iconic venues, including Output, Webster Hall, Pacha, and Marquee. Tickets are on sale now, and you can get further information here.
And if you can't make it to the festival at all, enter below to win tickets or tune in as it is live streaming via Twitch, the same site that broadcasted this year's Ultra Music Festival. Watch it starting at 5 PM on Friday here.
