This is one of the more off the wall tracks I've received in awhile and so I just had to write it up, because who doesn't love to dance "the Jitterbug?" It's a little out of bounds and somewhat whacked out, but in the best way possible (I can hear festi-kids dancing somewhere to that funky saxophone). I can hear some influences from festival scene superstar GriZ with something a bit more futuristic, but therein lies the beauty of the glitch hop genre.
Released on Adapted Records "Jitterbug" the namesake of a four-part EP that seeks to reenvision the roaring 20's in electronic terms. UK based producer Dave, who goes by the moniker Stepcat seems to create music that makes us want to "Step to it," and that makes all of the difference.
