Those who live in New York City know that MATTE is synonymous with high-end nightlife production and pristine lineup curating. This year, one of their largest projects turns 5-years-old, and that is the irreplacable Full Moon Festival. In the past, rising acts like Le Youth, Penguin Prison, YACHT, Gigamesh and more have taken the stage at this unique festival which planted it's roots in Governor's Island.. The past couple of years this festival has taken place at Governor's Island. However, this year they carry the party to a new kind of oasis, the Brooklyn Mirage. This Brooklyn space has been converted into an electronic oasis, complete with palm trees (yes, in New York), breathtaking views of the city, state of the art visuals and more. This year is guaranteed to be on of the highlights of the summer. With acts like Tensnakes, Yelle, Soul Clap, Oliver Nelson, and Rüfus Du Sol perfmoring there, there will be no shortage of swanky tunes. We've teamed up with MATTE to give on fan the chance to win two tickets. You can enter below. If you don't win this time, don't fret – you can still get tickets here.
To get you in the mood for Full Moon this weekend, Oliver Nelson has put together an hour long mix of groovy house vibes that will have you eager to outstretch your arms under the summer sun. If you aren't in New York City, don't worry, Oliver is playing with Thomas Jack at Republic in New Orleans this Friday, August 31st, and playing at the Summertime Radness Pool Party in San Francisco Sunday August 2nd.
