This one isn't disco but somehow I hear shades of it, maybe in those breathy, throwback vocals that just make me want to fall in love. It makes me want to dance slow in a club all lit up in florescent lights and give a part of myself away without hiding any of my heart. But that's what ASCIO (one half of Brazil music duo Database) does to us, especially when he teams up with Australian vocalist San Mei who absolutely kills it on this one, blending nu disco, pop and house.
Lucio Morais has also worked on some killer projects in the past with LA famous DJ/producer Mark Ronson as well as French Horn Rebellion, whose official remix of Beyonce we premiered over the winter. We're excited to see how he progresses as an electronic artist now that he has his own project (and alter ego) outside of Database.
