Have you ever heard a track for the first time, and you've screwed your face up with appreciation? That's exactly what happened to me the first time I heard New Jersey native Da$h's "Swordfish", taken from his incredibly dope V.I.C.E.S mixtape. Since I first heard his music, I've been a fan ever since, and his close affiliation with artists such as the A$AP Mob, Retch and Mac Miller only further stands to enhance his standing as one of hip hop's raw new talents.
Whilst V.I.C.E.S was released almost two years ago, the previous couple of years haven't gone untouched by Da$h, with him and Retch building a strong rapport with the hip hop's underground, making them a formidable duo. The NJ spitter has released a new banger for us all to get jiggy to, with the incredibly hard "Mudd Walk". With Atlanta producer and go-to-guy at the moment Metro Boomin behind the boards, Da$h tears through the frantic instrumental, with a flow that rides the beat so well. With his lyricism aimed towards fake rappers and every rappers favourite drank, it seems that he's building himself up for a big 2015.
