I found Brooklyn-based duo Surf Rock Is Dead, comprised of Kevin Pariso and Joel Witenberg, on their debut track "Equinox," released when the weather was just starting to get frigid here on the east coast. Their new composition, Zen A", gives some of the warm-weather vibes that we found on the original, but this one is even more out of this world than the last. They're one of those new bands with a lot of musical history and a professional background dating back to adolescence. This might explain their carefully crafted indie-rock bliss and why the duo has found their niche so quickly in NYC's trendiest burrough.
