When I heard the latest from multi-dimensional artist Seven Davis Jr, "Let Somebody Love You," I had literally no idea what hit me. The second track off of his new Wild Hearts EP plays like a cracked out version of a 70's funk song, that deep and raspy voice imploring the listener to "let somebody love you," except spliced and diced into oblivion. The thing is that although his creation might be hard to understand we totally love it, and I imagined wiggling my hips on a dance floor with light up squares that go just a little too fast, but in a good way. His new EP is out on Ninja Tunes for anyone who wants to funk out in an alt-electronic modern age.
