Last month EARMILK released a sleepy, sexy Thanksgiving mix compilation called Tyrptophan Jams. We pulled together some of our favorite deep house acts to put together a chill-ass mix for post-thanksgiving feast loungings. One of the artists we commissioned is a rising talent named Ayo Alex. Ayo Alex has been making music for a little while now but he came to light when he won The Chainsmokers’ remix contest for their original single “Kanye,” scope the remix here. Following his remix of Kanye, Ayo has carried his talents to Big Sean’s 2014 hit “IDFWU” adding his own Trill House touch to the snarky original. Trill house isn’t a real genre but if it is then Ayo is the one leading the brigade with his signature mix of trap, house, and hip-hop. Throw some bows this weekend to this saucy remix and tell your nearest and dearest that IDFWU.
