We hear a lot of electronic talent coming from Europe, but there seems to be a disproportionately smaller amount from one of the biggest countries in the west, Spain. Chus & Ceballos make up for this gap, a Spanish duo who wreak havoc on the dance floor through dark tech house works that transport partygoers into another dimension. This time they turn their focus to transform Stephane Pompougnac's "Cala Bassa" from an ethereal, experimental track into a rhythmic tribal experience that breaks for an almost angelic choral stop before heading back into the heart of darkness. It's not about big builds and massive drops for these two, rather the steady continuity of beats and bass.
