It's especially hard to find music you're consistently content listening to while at work, as things change and your mood differs day to day. Sometimes I like the gritty stuff, other times I prefer rap, and sometimes I prefer silence. It's all about that day. However, Netherlands producer 67th Hour creates folk-splattered house, the type in which I feel comfortable zoning to at any moment.
I last shared a 67th Hour creation back when he dropped a remix of Matt Corby's "Stone". That edit is and was very similar to his new edit of William Fitzsimmons. "Centralia" was a wonderful piece of writing originally, and the pairing of tempo and kicks adds that emotional feel I personally need in my electronic realm. I love how repetitive it can be, but it makes sense! Why would you stray away from such a distinct style that has proven to work? 67 makes music in all forms (other monikers I won't mention to keep your focus on his house side) and I'm glad he sticks to a style that not only works for listeners, but works for him.
It's rare we get a William Fitzsimmons remix, so enjoy this one while you can!
