As pumpkins are carved, make up and costumes assembled and house parties pop up on every block, this time of year is mostly filled with creepy, dark and haunting tracks or beat-heavy, dance focused mixes but if you’re ready want to switch it up a bit Australia’s duo Casper Cult has released a calming, patient and naturally flowing tune “Industrial Love”. Although the intro has a crawly spider-legs like vibe, this track is an easy-going, chill and simple song to take a breather to.
Alisha Linsdell and Dylan Hill have married acoustic sounding elements with a heavy synthesized electric vibe. The vocals dip and weave between natural and heavily manipulated, as does the beat. Both electronic synths and raw percussion flow together in perfect harmony. Casper Cult will be releasing a debut EP later this year.
