Dubb just dropped a celebratory new track called “My Day”, which is all about the succesful feeling that hits you when you realize you're exactly where you want to be. Dubb was last on the scene at the start of the year with his DJ Carisma hosted mixtape, Never Content, and the Athens Park emcee is taking huge strides in this mammoth effort, as “My Day” ties in a couple of exciting genres with some swirling synths and a jazzy touch resulting in what should be considered as anthemic, partly thanks to the pristine production of B Ham, Cy Fyre and Trumpet Dude.
“My Day” plays like the closing track on a full length contemporary hip hop release, which is the level of work that the Av8ers front man will be looking to achieve as he recently signed with Game’s Blood Money imprint. Dubb is set to feature on Game’s upcoming Year of the Wolf record, so look out for that as well as Perfect Timing, Dubb’s new tape hosted by DJ Skee and DJ Whoo Kid. Hear all about “My Day” below.
