KANT saw an opportunity to one-up MØ's "Walk This Way" and was quite successful

It's Wednesday. You all know what that means, ya? DAILY DOSE OF NEW MUSIC! Well, to be fair, you guys have the fortune of hearing new tunes every day, but today is extra special. Extra special because we have a highly unexpected remix of singer/songwriter MØ courtesy of tech and ghetto house legend, KANT. You may have heard his [and our favorite] track "Ey Yo", produced alongside Tapesh. If you didn't, well, I guess you're welcome for making your life and musical repertoire infinitely better.

The tune at hand, a remix of MØ's "Walk This Way" takes the original's reflective rebellious attitude and reshapes it into a techno-influenced heavy house hitter. With a sound similar to Pleasurekraft and Booka Shade, the refix proves more club- and festival-ready than the original while still maintaining the vocal range and emotive aspects of the lyrics. The use of negative space and background risers brings everything together and pushes the limits of the style he claims. Bottom line, KANT is the much needed come-up for your dreary Wednesday afternoon.

Listen below and take a leap over your hump day.
