Alias is a producer from Maine, and has just released “Crimson Across It” under the eclectic label Anticon. This new track took me by surprise, it’s very ominous and rough. Pleasantly surprised though, Doseone’s vocals suit the track perfectly. Alias says, “I worked on it mostly it night, so it definitely has more of a nocturnal feel than any of my previous albums.” The guttural bassline is incredibly catchy, and mixed with the juxtaposing differences in vocals, this makes for a really diverse track. Though it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it definitely send its message well, and adds to the label’s varying style.
