A little while back, while surfing on Soundcloud, we stumbled upon Andru, a 20-year-old producer from Montreal. Andru jus released “Wailin,” under Trapdoor Records, and it's the second track on Andru’s two-track Bells EP. For fans of Mr. Carmack, get ready to be thoroughly impressed, as this trap-tastic EP is very much inspired by the great innovator. The virtue of “Wailin” is that it packs so much heat in such simplicity. He primes you with a pleasantly suspenseful buildup, and then strikes with a heavy bass that will pulsate throughout your whole body. In the past three weeks, Andru went from 3K followers on Soundcloud to almost 10K and the honest talent speaks for itself. Watch out for this young gun, he’s on fire and on the rise.
