I can't super remember when I first started hearing about Jackin with the Drums, but I can definitely see why I got so hooked on the trio… they go hard and bring their a-game with every release. Each track I've heard by them is a stunning progression, and this time the Black EP is straight gold.
The trio keep true to their techno origin and bring a varied range of emotion even while they maintain a level of seeming simplicity (even though that in itself is just a façade). Kicking things off with "Light Years" which sets an insane mood of pure rage and then following with the less intense "Apparent Gravity" that still brings some freaky vibes, the three producers know exactly how to take their listeners on a journey.
"Reason" and "Platinum Black" are their last two original tracks, and both kill it as well. Overall, these three are on my list of upcoming techno stars and are definitely ones to watch for.
Check out their original tracks, plus three remixes from Raving George, Gunrose, and Baskerville. This is available for purchase today via Beatport.
