As soon as I got home after hearing "Bridges" by BROODS I went straight to my computer to pull up everything I could find by them. There’s something so enthralling about their sound. It manages to be energetic light and yet reflective at the same time. Their lyrics are intelligent, well written and relatable.
As May winds down and summer is ebbing closer and closer the BROOD’s official US video release for "Bridges" just feeds the summer excitement. It features a group of friends in a stunning landscape with vintage-style lighting. The video perfectly mirrors the energy of the song. The brother and sister duo from New Zealand are set to release a full album, Never Gonna Change this August.
