Knox Brown was a name that I had heard floating around but had never quite caught my guard until he recently released "Harry's Code," a stunningly classic track that utilizes its minimal beat to emphasize the beauty of one of the most powerful instruments out there- our vocals.
The emotions here run rampant and its a definite ode to the classic styles of the old Motown days. Don't let this description fool you however, the song is as addicting in this day and age as it would have been back then, and there is simultaneously something extremely modern about the piece that I can't quite place my finger on.
Overall, if Knox Brown is going to be reliving the classics in the modern age, I for one am going to be keeping my eye on his next releases for sure.
