East London's Confz is no stranger to us folks here at EARMILK. The young emcee has graced our pages on many occasions, and is one of our well loved exports from the UK, with his Conscience EP being well played over the past year. Most recently however, we've had a little bit of a lull in material from Confz, although his appearance on Distinction's refix of Usher's "Climax" whet our appetite and kept us ticking over.
This week, we have a brand new rack and video from Confz, and boy was it worth the wait. "What's The Point?" was recorded well over a year ago, but has only just come to light due to the visuals created by Oliver Whitehouse, who's taken the dark lyrical content of the track and turned it into a stunning yet haunting video. The Canis Major produced beat is downbeat and features an eerie sample that drones throughout, as Confz spits his lyrics with both venom and passion, yet managing to keep his flow precise and understandable. "What's The Point?" is a track that anyone who's going through a struggle can relate to, and Confz has broken down the fight that we all go through in life amazingly well.
You can peep the visuals for "What's The Point?" below, and be sure to keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK for the latest music from Confz.
