Sampha – "Too Much" (Prince Club Remix)

Earlier this year Sampha lent his vocals to Drake for one of the Nothing Was The Same album highlights, "Too Much". Listeners heard Sampha's soulful voice overlap with Drake's distinctive rhymes the first time around, but recently Sampha took "Too Much" for a solo run. Scaling back the track to melodic piano chords and his emotionally-driven vocals, the English singer/songwriter released his rendition as a single November 6.  Ready to take the stage in his own right, Sampha has shown he is much more than a feature artist with his solo edit.

Now the Montreal-hailing production duo Prince Club are taking "Too Much" for another spin, this time on the decks, remixing the track for a club edit. Turning up the bmps and incorporating synthesized piano chords and drum kicks, Prince Club transforms "Too Much" from a soulful R&B inspired output into a dance floor-ready production. Blending Sampha's vocal hook into a bouncy house beat, the two producers give the tune a new unexpected energy.
