In our opinion, every Tuesday could use some shaking up. Thankfully, British electro-pop band Suzuki/Method’s new track “Sherbet” (Swiss Lips Remix) does just that. The song is like the end scene of an ‘80s cult classic flick – a powerhouse dance number that’s sure to rock your little Tuesday’s world.
The opening is like a festive synth circus, with a piercing pitch punching through guitar riffs, like a stadium horn rising above cheering fans. Adam Leishman’s vocals are laced with an alternative influence, and at some points reach a heightened urgency on par with the early 2000s pop-punk movement, like the chorus of “Ohio is for Lovers” got a synth makeover and bass facelift.

Or maybe it just sounds like what it is: an epic remix by Manchester’s “pop sorcerers” Swiss Lips – their ingenuity elevating the track to dance-floor-worthy proportions that make us long for raucous raves, bright lights and late nights.
