BANKS – "Warm Water" (Figgy Remix)

NYC based artist and producer, Figgy, has endowed the summer of 2013 with a series of polished and brisk-sounding rework releases, providing our ears with sonic relief and relaxation from the heat. Showcasing a penchant and a talent for creating summer-worthy reworks, Figgy has given us his own refreshing and demiurgic audial takes on tracks like Ciara’s “Body Party,” CeCe Peniston's “Finally,” and T-Pain’s “I Can’t Believe It,” all within the last few months. His latest remix, another summer jam to hold on to before the leaves start to change, comes as an adaptation of Bank’s “Warm Water” track and is indeed another addition to his impressive procession of revitalizing summertime tunes. A chilled out house beat, bell-like synths and effected vocals are just some of the treats you’ll find sprinkled throughout this sumptuous track, as Figgy turns up the cadence and the vibe, but keeps present the pacifying essence of the original.

Figgy's last three EPs-How You Feel, For The One, and Can't See/Don't Waste– which come off of Freshmore, Symbols Recordings, and a special for GOTM Films, are proof that he knows how to try on different sounds, and it's clear that he looks good in any musical style. Scheduled to make appearances in Missouri and New York this upcoming month, those of you lucky enough to make it to his shows are in for a smooth phonic experience and a signature sound brimmed with soulful chords and inventive construction.
