With Labor Day weekend almost upon us, attendees of the 5th annual Electric Zoo festival in New York can finish their last-minute plans (or join if you're a procrastinator) for the three day, 5-stage extravaganza. Of those stages, EZoo has partnered with five premiere labels to showcase their talent on each day: Boys Noize and OWSLA on Friday, Fool’s Gold on Saturday, all capping it off with Drumcode and Dim Mak on Sunday.  For the last three weeks we here at Earmilk have brought you in-depth pre-festival coverage, highlighting these fine imprints and bringing you exclusive content from each roster. Today, we have the last installment of our series, featuring Dim Mak, an exclusive stream of Autoerotique’s upcoming track, “Play It Again”, and a super fly swag giveaway.

17 years have passed since Steve Aoki founded Dim Mak Records in the Southern California metropolis of Los Angeles. The work hard, play hard philosophy of the locale have become entrenched in the labels mindset, which has amassed a talent-heavy roll call of electro house and dub artists. On Sunday at Electric Zoo’s Riverside stage, Dim Mak will showcase 11 of their brightest, beginning with Yolanda Be Cool and Proxy, then building into names, like Felix Cartal, Angger Dimas, Clockwork, and Chase & Status. Also included in this lineup will be a long-time favorite of mine, Autoerotique, whose newest track we have the pleasure of premiering today.

Interestingly enough the Canadian duo first caught my ear when I heard their track “Ready Or Not” right here on Earmilk about four years ago. Though much has changed from that fateful day, one thing that hasn't is there stellar productions, both originals and remixes. Add to this list "Play It Again", an all-out electro banger that drops tomorrow, Tuesday the 27th. Like much of their work, the track seems ready-made for festival sets and hungry crowds, pressing every button in the hard house arsenal:  sea-sawing alarms, four-on-the-floor basslines, and exclamatory vocals. In case you needed futher convincing, take a listen below and make sure you have Autoerotique on your Electric Zoo "must see" list.

Finally, for our last giveaway three lucky fans will be winning some Dim Mak t-shirts, so you can be extra fly come next festival. Enter below and remember that you can submit multiple entries by being extra social. (Reload the page if you don't see the contest.) See you at EZoo!
