Detroit-born, Berlin-based, Hotflush-, !K7-, and Warp-endorsed producer and generally attractive man Jimmy Edgar jumped on remix duties for the b-side to U.K. producer Letherette's upcoming single "After Dawn", due for release on Ninja Tune (ZENDNLS369) on August 26. The single also includes remixes of the title track from Bibio and Barker and Baumecker.
"Restless" features vocals from Portland up-and-comer Natasha Kmeto, whose emotive Crisis LP recently came out on Dropping Gems, and all of the artists' strengths are highlighted, from Edgar's powerful dancefloor percussion to Letherette's ambiance to a chopped-up hint of Kmeto's voice, used here as instrument instead of lyrical tool.
