King Krule is continuing to build momentum as the release date for his True Panther Sounds/XL Recordings debut, 6 Feet Beneath The Moon, rapidly approaches. His latest release, "Neptune Estate," is a perfect addition to the darkwave aesthetic he has been crafting since before the birth of his current moniker. "I want to be with you. I want to be used," the UK prodigy croons over the barren soundscape of a post-dubstep design. It almost sounds like the music James Blake might have made as an adolescent going through puberty. It reeks of youthful angst, in a good way. It feels like young love for the modern age. His tonal quality is rich (as usual), and even as he bends pitches, his voice retails its sultry timbre.
