After making their EARMILK debut with the release of their new single, NYC-based blues/hip-hop duo CharlieRED (composed of rapper Rocki Evans and producer Cobaine Ivory) are back with a vengeance with the release of visuals for their previously released single "GreedGREED".
The first video from their forthcoming coming second EP, Muse, the visuals for "GreedGREED"', like the single itself , hits hard on a variety of levels and is likely to draw viewers in for a second and possibly third viewing. As the sociopolitically charge lyrics found in the song suggest a litany of American and capitalist imagery are found through the video as the CharlieRED makes a powerful yet nuanced statement within the short span of a four minute music video. With their bold incorporation of elements of blues into distinct hybrid hip-hop sound , the Evans and Ivory are forging into what can best be described as rarely charted territory.
