Following the release of her funky, empowering and socially conscious Erykah Badu-assisted single "Q.U.E.E.N." Janelle Monáe has announced her sophomore album, The Electric Lady — the follow-up to her 2010′s debut The ArchAndroid — and treated fans to a taste of what in store with her newest track entitled "Dance Apocalyptic". bubbly new track "Dance Apocalyptic"

Slated to be released September 10 via Atlantic Records, the upcoming LP will include Monáe's collaboration with Badu, as well as features from Miguel and music legend Prince. In addition, the deluxe edition of Electric Lady, set to be released via an exclusive partnership with Target, will feature four additional tracks, including a cover of the Jackson Five hit "I Want You Back", a remix to "Q.U.E.E.N." and the album's titular song, and an as of yet unheard track entitled"HYTB".
