Tommy Trash – Blair Bitch Project [Remix EP]

Originally debuted back in 2011 as a standalone single on Dim Mak Records, Tommy Trash’s “Blair Bitch Project” finally sees the light of day with a full release, this time complete with a remix pack. The original mix features a more polished production of grinding basslines and 8-bit staircases, not unlike the Aussie’s recent “Tuna Melt” collaboration.

On the remix side, Hot Mouth’s big room electro treatment has been floating around podcasts since late last year, but it’s the Sound of Stereo version that is the standout remix of the bunch, with a piercing synth and some much-needed creepiness preserved from the original. Also on the pack is an acid techno rework from VCO as well as a dank remix from Belgian duo Mumbai Science. Check out the entire EP on Beatport today.
