While many rappers focus on the "party" side of music by showcasing their material goods and the laundry list of females they've been with, Phil Adé isn't afraid to go against the grain with a track that is thought provoking and genuine. The DMV MC, who recently dropped "2AM" with UGK member Bun B, is back with a video for his newest track "Nas Told Me". Paying homage to the Illmatic classic "The World Is Yours" Adé spits some powerful and distorted rhymes over a dark, Kanye-esque beat provided by Sonny Norway. "Nas Told Me" features some great visuals of Phil spliced with the previously mention track; R.O.S.E (Result of Society's Evil) is rumoured to come out this summer. This will be one rapper that you shouldn't sleep on.
