Sometimes I like to sit back and think about all of the music that will survive when we're older. Who will be the Pink Floyds, the Rolling Stones, the Michael Jacksons we will all remember? It's all fun to speculate for now, but I do hope that my job as a blogger didn't go to waste, and that the good ones will be remembered.

One aspect that I genuinely hope will never be forgotten is the resurgence of the influence of UK Garage. Artists like Joy Orbison, as well as Skream's complete metamorphosis,  along with so many others, have pushed this genre into the spotlight within the last 18 months or so, and it seems like there is great music coming out on the daily, all influenced by the ghost of the nineties.

Enter Rudimental, a foursome based in London, that is helping push this scene further. While already quite well-known, they've really began to step their game up to a whole new level with their release, “Baby.”  They also get a little help from MNEK and Sinead Harnett, creating some very chill, very funky sounds.

While I am not making any grandiose statements about how these guys might be legends one day, I sincerely hope that this great moment in the dance world is written down into the history books.

Rudimental's debut album, Home, will come out on April 29th. Along with this, they have a very busy touring schedule ahead of them, including Hard Summer Music Festival in Los Angeles, and Bestival in the UK.
