In one of the coolest concepts to date, artist Jay Shells (who is also the mastermind behind Subway Etiquette) teamed up with Animal New York to take some lyrics about specific geographical spots around New York, and make them into road signs all around the city. From Kool A.D. To Jay-Z to Big L, he has carefully mapped out his route, even daringly putting up Lil Flame's line about police officers in front of the 73rd Precinct.
It's brilliant, simple, classy, and a great ode to New York Hip Hop artists. These originals are probably all stolen now, but apparently he's made some more to post around again. Which songs would you like to see featured?
