The UK's Kidkanevil and Japan's Daisuke Tanabe have come together to form the collaborative project Kidsuke, with an LP by the same name dropping on November 5 on Project Mooncircle. Although this is club music by nature, its childlike, nostalgic mood sets it apart, with sounds reminiscent of a pixelated or animated fantasy world scattered throughout tracks that blend bass, hip-hop, and ambient influences, described as "a synthesis of two aesthetics joined not just by a love of music but also a love of the abstract and the childish, the things that remind us we were all young one day and things were simpler. Things like dancing as if no one was looking or making music as if the outcome never mattered."
