You better fucking remember the last time we had Montreal/Toronto Love Thy Brother in for a spin on earmilk a month or two ago. We dropped their spring disco jive Feel This Cat.
This time is not about the spring. It's not about flowers, showers, or anything you could do during daylight. This time the brothers grim – Liam & Conor Clarke – are in it for blood. Ditching the tropical disco dig in favour of the grinding basslines a la electro house de francais and those high leads of the dutch house that we can't get enough of.
Love Thy Brother does not stand alone on the second release of this summer, recruiting Toronto's Killabits for a back alley shank and a dubstep remix as well as Kid Aloha showing his hiphop roots with a more traditional remix for the traditional club.
But that being said – our tradition is in Montreal, at a SAINTWOODS event, punching someone near us while hermanos Love Thy Brother throw bangers into the crowd and watch the pack canibalize itself.
p.s. if your reading this right now (8pm monday night) then show up at The Social (Toronto) 2nite and catch Killabits!
