The social media star, NEZZA, known for making Spanglish bops, returns to make listeners sweat, lose their breath, and possibly say ‘ayy bendito.’
Bringing luck everywhere she goes, the 27-year-old artist adds her usual Latin spice and beats to her new track “Sweat,” which may make you dance in front of the mirror.
With her whisper-like tone, Nezza sings, “Mirame, que yo soy la suerte. I’m so lucky, boy.” Warning someone that she can be both good and bad luck, depending on how she is treated. The heat continues with lyrics, “You know you got a 10/10 shawty. Attitude with a coke bottle body. Recipe not for everybody. Can't stop thinking about it. Want me in your pocket.”
“Sweat” comes out just in time for summer, where Nezza wants to become your Spanglish pop princess, as she adds, “Me dicen que yo soy tu favorita. Si tú quieres, puedes ser mi favorito.” Whether you understand Spanish or not, after listening to the song, a towel will be needed to dry off the sweat. The music video will be available on her YouTube channel on Friday, May 22.
