Spring is ending and it is the last chance to enjoy those beautiful flowers and breezy days before summer heats up. This May, there are so many phenomenal releases. From rock, alternative pop, country, electronic, and regional Mexican, check out this diverse new playlist filled with some of Spring's best music!

"See You Dancing" by Kids That Fly

Kids That Fly’s rise came from packed house shows at the University of Connecticut in late 2018. Built from sweat-soaked parties and the kind of word-of-mouth momentum you can’t fake, their latest release "See You Dancing" leans into that same urgency, channeling indie rock nostalgia through a modern, high-gloss lens. Melodic guitar lines, anthemic melodies and emotionally charged vocals collide to create an irresistible and immersive listen.

The band's DIY ethos and dedicated fan base are catapulting them as one of the most watched in the indie rock scene. Now signed with Giant Music, and with the band landing recording sessions spanning NYC, Los Angeles, and their home base in Connecticut, Kids That Fly aren't slowing down.

"CHAKA" by Rey Quinto featuring El Randal

Rey Quinto continues to sharpen his place within the corridos tumbados wave, and “CHAKA” lands with confidence. The artist has quickly established himself as one to watch in the regional Mexican music scene. With his latest invigorating release, Rey Quinto continues to impress. Collaborating with El Randal, “CHAKA” blends sierreño roots with urban textures. The track is both culturally grounded and forward-facing with blazing horns, colliding rhythms and infectious melodies.

As a preview of what’s next, “CHAKA” reinforces Quinto’s ability to evolve without losing the essence that’s built his growing audience. The song is off of his upcoming album, one that promises to be equally captivating.

“Close The Door” by Bijou Belle

Midwest alternative pop riser Bijou Belle steps into her own narrative with the emotive and infectious “Close The Door". The seductive left-of-center indie pop track captures the in-between moments of growth and letting go. Sparkly synths, stacked bright guitars, and atmospheric sonics entice with every note. Bijou Belle's clear and compelling vocals sing poetic lyrics of closure as she sings "but you feel like cinematic history".

At just 17 years-old, Bijou Belle has an ability for storytelling and performing greater than her years. Her recently released debut EP The RathCo, is equally compelling. Take a listen to "Close The Door" now and blast this banger loud for the ultimate sing-a-long.

"Something Blue” by Tyra Madison

Kentucky-born country starlet Tyra Madison has unveiled an emotional and alluring slow-burning musical embrace called "Something Blue". On her reflective single, Tyra Madison taps into heartbreak with cinematic clarity. The storytelling is sharp and personal, anchored by a vocal performance that doesn’t hold back. Rooted in country but expansive in emotion, the track feels designed for those solitary, late-night listens, the kind where the lyrics hit a little too close. It’s a reminder that Madison’s strength lies not just in her voice, but in her ability to translate feeling into something universally understood.

"Something Blue" is the ultimate cry-out-loud breakup anthem and a must listen to musical moment. With her new single, Tyra Madison once again is proving why she is one to watch.

"A Lot to Lose (Feat. BAILEN)” by Post Sex Nachos

Midwest-based Post Sex Nachos create the ultimate ode to friendship indie rock anthem with "A Lot to Lose (Feat. BAILEN)”. The track is off of their highly anticipated new album, Big Bad, due out September 18. "A Lot to Lose" captures the nostalgia and immediacy of that best friend, who is there for you no matter what. The collaboration with BAILEN is pure chemistry as they sing alternate vocals over bright indie rock production. Breezy guitars, sun-drenched sonics and heartfelt lyrics add to the song's warm, lived-in charm, building a soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive. The track balances vulnerability with an easygoing optimism, channeling the kind of late-night conversations and shared memories that define lasting friendships.

With its catchy melodies and earnest delivery, “A Lot to Lose” stands out as a defining moment on Big Bad, showcasing Post Sex Nachos’ knack for crafting songs that linger long after the final note fades.

"The Only" by Tamar Kaprelian

Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Tamar Kaprelian’s return to her solo work arrives with depth and intention. Her new folk single “The Only” is both personal and symbolic, exploring motherhood, identity, and creative ownership all at once. There’s a cinematic softness to the track, but beneath it sits a quiet reclamation of voice and story. Tamar's sweet vocals sing cathartic lyrics over lush acoustic guitar. Gorgeous string arrangements add to the song's allure.

"The Only” is a highlight for an artist stepping back into herself on her own terms. Tamar crafts raw music that blends artistic depth with sharp industry awareness. She isn’t simply creating music, she’s redefining what it means to be an artist today.

“No Lie” by DD Island

Brooklyn-based DD Island taps into a free-flowing, road-worn energy with their new “No Lie". The track that feels as spontaneous as its origin story suggests. Blending cosmic Americana with indie rock textures, “No Lie" carries a sense of movement, like something born out of late nights and long drives. Twangy guitar riffs, hooky-melodies and thumping basslines enthrall while Brandon Rhodes' warmly expressive vocals add a sense of relatability.

There’s an ease to the chemistry, the kind that only comes from a band finding its rhythm together in real time. “No Lie" is a taste from the band’s forthcoming debut album, Setting Sun, due out July 10.

“OPERATOR” by Shyra Sanchez

Billboard-charting artist Shyra Sanchez is a powerful inspiration for us all. Not only is she an artist, but she is also a dancer, producer, fitness entrepreneur, and motivational speaker whose work spans music, film, fashion, and wellness. The Northern-California raised icon has released her debut single "OPERATOR" which quickly hit the charts and garnered millions of plays. The explosive dance pop banger is filled with electrifying synths, evocative beats and seductive vocals. The song is empowering pop at its finest detailing themes of self-love and inner power.

Shyra Sanchez is set to unleash another single "Dance With Me" in June, leading to another exciting chapter in her music career. In the meantime, stream "OPERATOR" now and hit the dance floor!
