Drummer and vocalist Shari Page has released her debut solo EP, Next Page.
The former drummer of THICK, Shari Page wrote and produced Next Page in an effort to step into a more dynamic pop-rock sound as a soloist, having also recorded the vocals and drums live for the EP.
Showing off her rather sweet vocals and heavy-hitting nature as a drummer, Next Page really shows off the lighter sound Shari Page is hoping to continue with as she becomes more and more comfortable as a solo artist. Something is comforting and nostalgic about the way the EP leans heavily into its pop-rock vibes, like finding a band that speaks to you in your youth.
The EP feels fresh even if it’s a little messy and raw, but that sense of it just adds to its status as a fresh start for Shari Page, and hopefully, more from her to come.
