Valentina Moretti launches CyberFetish Records and debuts Soy Machin alias

Mexican trans artist Valentina Moretti has launched CyberFetish Records alongside "Doctor Machin," the debut single from Soy Machin, her new alias and most deliberate, personal project to date. The independent electronic label, co-founded with Mark Gartenberg (director of SXSW's annual songwriting camp), is rooted in the underground club culture of 1990s New York City.

The name Soy Machin translates to "I am a man" in Spanish, a phrase used for years across Latin America to demean trans women. Valentina chose it with full knowledge of what it carries, reclaiming the language used against her community. The music draws from the raw, confrontational textures of Electroclash and Electronic Body Music, shaped by Spanish lyrics and a visual world running through fetish culture, cyberpunk futurism, and the defiant spirit of queer nightlife.

"For me this new project is about telling people to be true to yourself and be brave enough to keep on singing," shares Valentina Moretti.

Two weeks after the original release, CyberFetish Records will follow with "Doctor Machin (Tommie Sunshine Remix)." Sunshine brings a catalog of over 300 remixes spanning Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Donna Summer, Santana, Fall Out Boy, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, alongside a reputation built across the main stage of Ultra Music Festival and the Hard stage at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. His presence on this release reflects the project's ambition and positioning within electronic music culture.

Valentina Moretti's career has earned praise from Pete Bellotte (producer of Donna Summer), Robert Margouleff (producer of Stevie Wonder), Richard Gibbs (The Simpsons, Battlestar Galactica), and Gordon Raphael (The Strokes), with whom she has collaborated. Spotify recognized her with a billboard in Times Square, while performances include EDC on the Circuit Grounds stage and headlining the HE.SHE.THEY residency on BBC Radio 1 Dance.

As the only Latin American artist to hold brand ambassador roles with Roland, Korg, and Novation simultaneously, Valentina occupies a singular position in the global electronic music community. CyberFetish Records exists to carry the spirit of underground club culture into a new era, building a home for artists working at the intersection of sound, style, and social progress.

"Doctor Machin" is available now via CyberFetish Records.
