Chatrooms is back in the studio with their modern rock single, "Daydream." The single brings back a sense of the 90s with its lo-fi alternative sound while maintaining their past emo edge. "Daydream" speaks to the ebbs and flows of a changing landscape, both musically and within the band.
"Daydream" is the first single from Chatrooms since their May 2025 single, "Rest Assured." The San Fernando Valley-based band continues to bridge the gap between screamo and modern indie with ties to the Midwest emo sound. The new single echoes those statements as the band reaches new depths once thought unreachable. Chatrooms do it better than anyone else. "Daydream" is evidence of that.
Over the years, Chatroom's sound has continued to evolve and grow with the band. Touring across the country has allowed the band to hone their skills and inject a certain personality lost within today's music. "Daydream" is Chatroom at their best.
