With “Let Her Go,” Zack Morris makes his return with an introspective pop/electro-pop single focused on the up and down emotional juxtaposition of finding comfort within your relationship, yet wanting to do what is best for yourself. Born-and-bred Tampa, Florida, singer-songwriter uncovers his unique niche by springboarding from a folk-inspired honesty to a polished pop sensibility.

“Let Her Go” confronts the choices one must make when a relationship no longer feels right, but feelings of loneliness and emotional attachments weigh you down. The track itself depicts moving through denial into understanding, then arriving at the difficult yet fair conclusion that you have to rid yourself of the things that no longer serve you.

The release also marks an exciting step in a new creative direction for Zack Morris, giving listeners a preview of his evolving sound. Combining heartwarming lyrical arrangements with contemporary electro-pop production, “Let Her Go” cements him as an artist to watch in today’s changing indie-pop scene. Teetering on the edge of openness, the tune serves up a classically compelling top line over a supernatural electronic backdrop.

As Zack steps into this next chapter, “Let Her Go” serves as both a personal manifesto and a music gateway to his future collaborations, pointing toward an expansive artistic direction that provides listeners with a relatable soundtrack to complement emotional evolution, personal growth & self-discovery.
