There are some voices you hear that land almost instantly. Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist Matt Hansen has one of those voices—full of conviction, passion, and the weight of a life rich with stories.
His latest single, “COMPASS,” showcases this beautifully. Hansen’s vocals soar over a simple, new-wave-esque guitar line and nostalgia-driven instrumentation, but it’s his top-line melody and vocal delivery that propel the track forward at light speed.
