Bowling For Soup recently wrapped up a massive U.S. tour alongside their longtime friends Simple Plan, 3OH!3, and LØLØ, following an acclaimed appearance at Four Chord Festival.
Now, the pop-punk veterans return with their newly released single, “Holding On To That Hate.”
Lyrically straightforward yet emotionally resonant, the track carries a hopeful edge through its melodic structure and introspective tone.
Lines like “you’ll never find your way to be happy, holding on to that hate” showcase the band’s knack for pairing catchy hooks with deeper reflection.
Lead vocalist Jaret Reddic delivers a performance that’s charmingly quirky yet heartfelt, balancing the band’s signature humor with a sincere pop sensibility.
Alongside their new single, Bowling For Soup is gearing up to mark a major milestone with the release of their upcoming live album, A Hangover You Definitely Deserve (Live), celebrating the 20th anniversary of their beloved record A Hangover You Don’t Deserve.
Set for release on October 24th via Brando / Que-So Records, fans can already get a taste of what’s to come with two live videos — “A-Hole” (featuring John James Ryan of Keep Flying on saxophone) and “Ridiculous” (featuring Matthew Milligan from Wheatus on keyboard) — both available now on YouTube.
The album is currently up for pre-save.
