Nadia Maria’s latest single, “Say Something,” sounds like the perfect anthem for when emotion and rhythm meet. Her ability to seamlessly blend soulful pop sensibilities with the rich foundation of R&B influences and the acid bite of modern electronic production shines through on this track.

“Say Something” is bold and smooth from that first note. Nadia’s voice rumbles with a richness that sounds fragile and confident at the same time, guiding her listeners through waves of feelings but keeping them locked in the groove. There’s a pleasing equilibrium in place, though, between warm-hearted lyricism and earworm-inducing bangers. Nadia Maria as she finds her own path within today’s saturated pop markets.

What distinguishes Nadia is her sound as herself. “Say Something” reaches for that playful self without sacrificing its emotional core, testimony to Garbus’s range as an artist, both online and in the studio. With Nadia Maria’s “Say Something,” you receive a slice of her soul poured into an infectiously genre-bending tune. This track is the ideal introduction to her world for newcomers. For die-hard fans, it’s another example of why her star is seemingly only rising.

Her sound, story, and sassy sense of humor are what continue to resonate with fans around the world as NAIDA MARIA proves that she’s a rising artist on everyone’s ‘watch’ list. “Say Something” is as much a statement as a song, and Nadia Maria says it loud.
