Los Angeles-based musician and skateboarder Angel T33th makes a striking entrance into the music scene with her first album, "A Message to Myself." This collection of nine songs is both personal and imaginative, blending memories from her past with insights from her present. At just over 36 minutes long, the album feels like a heartfelt letter, meant not only for her younger self but also for anyone struggling with change and the healing process. With standout tracks like "DAMNU," "Mika2000," and the touching title song "Message to Myself," Angel T33th blends different music styles, including pop and rock, creating a rich and colorful sound that's reminiscent of artists like Tame Impala and Beach House, yet uniquely her own.

Angel describes her songwriting as "working with different versions of myself" over time. Many songs started as unfinished voice memos or rough ideas she later revisited and transformed after going through a healing journey. The honesty in this album turns her vulnerabilities into beautiful music, with each track feeling like a piece of her personal journey. Two notable tracks, "Whisper" and "See Me This Way," showcase her unique ability to craft intimate yet expansive music. "Whisper" draws listeners in with its soft and haunting style, while "See Me This Way" resonates emotionally, exploring themes of identity and acceptance. Together, they capture the album's main message.

The album also features contributions from her friend and collaborator, Austyn Gillette, adding layers of trust and creativity to the project. "A Message to Myself" reflects Angel's unique vision, a heartfelt exploration of her past and future selves. With this debut, Angel T33th shows she is not just a new artist but a storyteller who transforms her memories into beautiful music. "A Message to Myself" invites listeners to reflect on their own experiences and discover the healing power of music.
