Los Angeles-based producer, songwriter, and artist Rob Tirea begins his 2025 release slate with the powerful new single "Give Me Love Give Me Light," the first offering from his forthcoming Universal Jest EP. The track showcases Tirea's versatility, seamlessly blending elements of Alternative Dance, Rock, and Indie Pop into a compelling sonic landscape.

Speaking on the track, Tirea shares, "Give Me Love Give Me Light is a sonic exploration of life's contradictions and an unapologetic plea for connection." This sets the tone for the upcoming EP, which Tirea describes as "a soundtrack to life being both beautiful and equally absurd. It's a straight-up punch to the gut, wrapped in a smile. The world is loud, messy, and unapologetic, and I'm here to make sure you're on the ride with me. There's no rulebook here, just raw moments, sharp edges, and a lot of truth."

A special live performance video featuring Rob will accompany the release on vocals side-by-side with string duet Nicole Garcia, and Michelle Rearick, a part of Fine Line Music Service, who worked on transposing the piece for live. The Culver City based studio recently collaborated with Lady Gaga, Laufey, Cypress Hill, Danny Elfman – with credits on The Sinners, Oppenheimer, The Wild Robot, The Oscars, Alien: Earth, Fargo, and more.

Nicole Garcia has just performed with Lady Gaga during her Iconic 2025 Coachella Performance. In addition she has played violin on her 2024 album “Harlequin.” She has credits on songs by Reggie Watts, Elton John, Michael Buble, Michael Jackson, and Rod Stewart. Cellist Michelle Rearick has contributed to string arrangements on numerous film scores and albums such as “Tenet,” The Lion King Original Soundtrack, “Only God was above us” by Vampire Weekend, and “Strawberry Blush” by John Legend.

Filmed by visual artist and creative producer Jackie Catechis, known for her work with events like Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Skyline Festival, CRSSD, and artists such as Flight Facilities, and Luttrell, this unique hybrid-live content piece, shot in a Downtown Los Angeles studio space, offers fans an intimate, visual perspective on Tirea’s new material.

This release follows Tirea's successful 2024 output, including singles "Thoughts of You" and "Only Luck" – the latter becoming one of SiriusXM Chill's most played tracks in early 2025 – as well as his Sterile Ave EP.

Rob Tirea's collaborations include work with GRAMMY-nominated producer Andrew Bayer on Ophelia Records and a track with GRAMMY-nominated producer Lipless on Thrive/Virgin Music. He has co-written, produced tracks, and spent time in the studio with the likes of Trackside, 88rising's projects, Stephanie Poetri, LILO, Jacob Ray, Justin Hayward Young (The Vaccines), HOLLY, WIWEK, and many other influential in the space.

Due for release late-July, Rob Tirea’s 2025 extended play will explore dynamic personal themes while developing his sonic fingerprint through experimentation, and translating his work into live performance.
