Reinforcing why she is one of the most interesting upcoming artists, Elohim's Power of Panic (Deluxe Edition) solidifies her reputation as a force to be reckoned with in electronic music, effortlessly blending contrasting moods with precision. While the album as a whole offers a compelling journey, two tracks- 'Afraid to Feel' and 'Scratch My Brain'- stand out for showcasing her versatility.

'Afraid to Feel' is an electrifying, techno-driven piece that shifts between eerie calm and thundering bass. The track’s unpredictable nature keeps listeners on edge, with Elohim’s delicate vocals creating a stark contrast to the song’s weighty drops. Explaining what her music means to her, Elohim says that Power of Panic is “A reflection of my mind- chaotic, yet intentional," and this song perfectly mirrors that sentiment, verging between control and chaos.

On the other hand, "Scratch My Brain" leans into a more reflective space, feeling almost like an internal monologue set to music. Its futuristic, glitchy textures give it a robotic quality, heightening its otherworldly atmosphere. The song is stripped back yet deeply gripping, drawing the listener into its hypnotic sound.

With Power of Panic, Elohim proves she can master both intensity and restraint. This album is a testament to her ability to craft unique sonic landscapes that resonate emotionally while keeping the listener engaged. With more music to come and anticipating any signs of new releases, Elohim isn't showing any signs of slowing down, and I'm sure I can speak for us all when I say I hope she doesn't.
