Enthralling Norwegian dream pop meets shoegaze artist Yndling has just shared her latest single "It's Almost Like You're Here" via Spirit Goth. The new song is the first of the year from this rising creator following her 2024 album Mood Booster.

With "It's Almost Like You're Here", Yndling chronicles the all too relatable feeling of being in a relationship where two people are not on the same page. The track is all about one person feeling ready to take the next step and leap into commitment while the other is scared or not there yet. It can be difficult to "leap and lean into love" and with her new single, Yndling shares this sentiment. She sings, "I used to know where your thoughts go / Those breaks in your heart that keep you alone," understanding the dissonance between them and her object of affections' difficulty with commitment. Musically, "It´s Almost Like You´re Here" features an immersive almost celestial soundscape filled with bittersweet melancholia. Yndling's hypnotic voice, leads the way through layers of swirling, reverb-heavy guitars. The song is intensely absorbing with textured synths and lush instrumental arrangements making for a must listen.

Yndling is the musical project of singer-songwriter and musician Silje Espevik. The fast rising artist began sharing music in 2021 inspired by the likes of dream pop icons Mazzy Star, Beach House, Men I Trust and Cocteau Twins, and more. Her debut album Mood Booster garnered much critical acclaim and Yndling is planning select international festival and tour dates this year to play in front of her growing fanbase. Check out "It's Almost Like You're Here" now and enjoy the musical journey.
