YARD's 'Call' rings out a post-punk cry for the unseen struggles we all face

Irish electro-noise band YARD is back with a new song, “Call.” This powerful anthem expresses deep human feelings through exciting and bold sounds. Following their popular song “Bend,” YARD takes a courageous step into darker themes with “Call,” offering an intense experience long after the music stops.

With energetic techno beats and electronic solid rock, “Call” captures the spirit of post-punk music, making it perfect for late-night listening and thoughtful moments. YARD combines eerie yet captivating sounds with striking vocals, creating a mix of feelings that fans of artists like Fat Dog, Chalk, and Gilla Band will find both haunting and engaging.

The song’s themes focus on difficult moments we often try to ignore—those solid and emotional reactions that can leave us in regret. “Call” is more than just music; it explores our thoughts and feelings, grappling with our complicated choices and the pain that can come from them. The music video features the band’s unique mascot, Bucketman, symbolizing the deep self-reflection at the heart of the song.

YARD has made a name for themselves by performing across Europe, standing out at festivals like Eurosonic, The Great Escape, and Primavera Pro. Known for their energetic live performances alongside bands like Shame and Mandy Indiana, they are becoming a dynamic force in Dublin's music scene.

With “Call,” YARD shows their creativity, delivering a song that is both freeing and thrilling—a proper anthem for those who feel deeply and are unafraid to express themselves.
