Rising rock star and producer Dave Curl unveils cinematic visuals for breezy track “Riders,” shifting from his signature rebellious classic rock musicality to laid-back surf rock stylings.
With groovy guitars and vibrant beats, the track is rooted in a soulful and authentic folk-pop-rock vibe, elevated by the accompanying music video. Shot on a beautiful coastline and featuring shots of Dave serenely strumming his guitar with shots of him and some friends enjoying themselves in the surf, the candid yet intricate video weaves a picture of peace, leisure and play.
Speaking of the video, Curl says, “Inspired by 20 years of surfing in Fuerteventura, I set out to create a music video capturing the island's desertlike beauty and the powerful connection with the ocean. Filming alongside the incredible Riders surf crew and lady surfers at the iconic lighthouse, I aimed to show the magic, struggle, and serenity that surfing here brings. With perfect waves and weather on our side, I hope this video captures the spirit of Fuerteventura and the joy of surfing.”
With a gentle yet powerful artistry that allures us, Dave Curl establishes his sonic transition from blistering anthems to tender tunes.
