Sweden-hailing, Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and filmmaker Lisa Thornqvist paid ode to her late father with her short film take on Brad Paisley’s hit “The World.”
Laden with the pain of losing her father after a ten year battle with dementia, the project manages to brim with a lighthearted touch. Rooted in her vision of the world and her carefully crafted screenwriting, Lisa captures her deep admiration for the country music scene.
Speaking of the short film, which was recently awarded by there Swedish Film Awards, she says, “I love music videos, but I wanted to do something a bit different so I manifested a short film.”
Managing to infuse an uplifting sense of excitement into the vulnerability of the theme, the film unveils her passion and dedication through every frame.
Having given up her corporate job to pursue her love for country music, Lisa Thornqvist has set herself up as a force to be reckoned with.
